The sports media-leftist industrial complex is on to the fact that Americans hate football because it refuses to do anything about players disrespecting the National Anthem, so ESPN has tried this one on for size. ESPN tweeted a photo of several Cleveland players prior to the start of the Browns-Giants exhibition game on their knees. Colin Kaepernick started the practice specifically to protest the United States. This has soured fans so now it’s time to pivot to something that panders to America’s faith tradition – prayer. Players pray before and after games often. ESPN really hasn’t put a spotlight on that. On some high school and college levels, pre-game prayers led by the coach are forbidden. ESPN has generally supported prayer in these instances, but this is a sick ploy to turn a revolting public relations catastrophe as something God-fearing Americans should get behind.
