Started the show by tying up some loose ends we left undone during the week. Newly appointed FCC Chairman Ajit Pai rescinded the government subsidy to low income groups for internet services. The confirming of Jeff Sessions and Betsy DeVos in addition to HHS Secretary Tom Price seems to validate our earlier contention the left actually wants these appointments so they can continue their Alinsky tactics of isolating in order to demonize their GOP opponents who are the ones who seem more worried, given the margins of approval are as tight as they have ever been. We discussed the turnout at GOP Townhalls that demonstrate the left is far more capable of mounting organized resistance than the right, a situation that needs to be addressed if we ever hope to calm the volatile waters of public opinion.  Then we began in earnest our series on “fake news,” what it is and isn’t. We started our series with an article by Snopes managing editor Brooke Binkowski who states the rise of fake news has become a viable campaign strategy by the left along with a few instances posted by The Federalist that claim fake news is an epidemic.
