Not long after Swede Savage’s death from an accident at the Indianapolis 500, in 1973, his wife gave birth to their second daughter, Angela Savage. Today, Angela is a mother of two children of her own. She never had the chance to meet her Dad, nor did she ever see any part of the racing world in which he lived. Angela has never been to Indy. Now, a family friend, Paul Powell, is attempting to raise the funding to have Angela attend the 2014 Indy 500…. so that she can see first-hand the world that her Dad loved. Angela will present a truly insider’s view of racing, and the personal touch that reaches far beyond the cameras and podiums.
A Facebook page cropped up called “Let’s Get Angela Savage to Indy.”  Chad & Joel talk to Angela Savage live.
