Alisha Kramer, the woman Jon Ossoff has dated for 12 years, is completing medical school to become an OB/GYN.  Not all OB/GYNs perform abortions, but they can, and some do.  Ossoff is the Democrat candidate in Georgia.  If pro-life voters in ruby-red (as Munchkin Robert Reich calls it) #GA06 haven’t asked, has Planned Parenthood asked?

Kramer has a little social justice warrior streak in her.  In a “Five things you should know about…” piece in Heavy, it’s been reported she spent time overseas involved in “family planning.”

According to her author bio at Impatient Optimists, a site run by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Kramer organized research trips to Botswana and Ethiopia, as well as Switzerland. She worked with Congressional staff delegations on trips to South Africa and Zambia. During her time at CSIS, she co-wrote publications on AIDS, women’s reproductive health and U.S. international health policy.

In 2013, she co-wrote two essays published by Impatient Optimists. In the first, she advocated for the U.S. to strengthen investment in women’s global health. In the second, she wrote that family planning programs are important to developing countries after she visited Ethiopia. Both essays were written with Janet Fleischman, a senior associate with CSIS’ Global Health Policy Center.

And this:

Billboards in Ethiopia’s capital announce the 2013 International Conference on Family Planning from November 12-15, under the theme “Full Access, Full Choice.”  The conference participants from around the world should draw lessons from Ethiopia’s own experience that family planning is central to broader women’s health and development, contributing to the empowerment of women and girls and more stable and prosperous families. Secretary of State John Kerry’s video message to the conference offers a unique opportunity for the United States to strategically reposition family planning as key to sustainable development, and to re-double U.S. commitment to national family planning programs.

Congress cut off money for overseas abortions under President Trump.  Where does the future Mrs. Jon Ossoff stand on this?  I think the voters in #GA06 would like to know.
