In this show:

A California blogger organized an event on the night before Donald Trump’s inauguration.  They priced it to be an everyman’s ball and called it the Deploraball.  Shortly after it was organized, another group began plotting to disrupt it.  The Deploraball got wind of this and James O’Keefe infiltrated the protest group and exposed plans to violently interfere with it.  The FBI was called in and security beefed up around the National Press Club, where it was held.  Nonetheless riots broke out in the streets, and it set the table for the next day’s inauguration, where rioters clogged entrances to the ceremony and parade.

While the streets of DC burned, the mainstream media called Donald Trump’s inauguration speech dark. Pessimistic. Dire. Frightening. One Democrat went to far as accuse him of attacking John Lewis.  How dare he attack the establishment and perhaps even Presidents in attendance?   He gave just another a campaign speech, some said.  Trump spoke as the same guy he always was.  Remember when George H.W. Bush ran on Reagan’s record then said something about “a kinder, gentler nation?”  Is that what you voted for?

The movie “A Dog’s Purpose” was supposed to be soft-hearted and feel good.  A dog is reincarnated as different breeds and helps humans during troubling times of their lives.  But footage surfaced showing a dog used in the film being forced into a tank of water to shoot a scene. PETA raised a stink and now Universal has cancelled the opening and junket to promote the film.  The actor who voiced the dog is heading for the hills and the Human Society representative working on the film is in trouble, though he claims he was not present for the scene.
