Former Washington State Prosecutor Donald C. Brockett joined us to discuss his book “The Tyrannical Rule Of The U.S. Supreme Court.”  We discussed the SCOTUS’s subversion of the separation of powers, which began with Justice John Marshall’s “dicta” in “Marbury vs. Madison” where he claimed the Court had the responsibility to rule on issues not legislated by Congress like homosexual marriage and abortion as well as the Executive and Legislative branch’s guilt due to complicity and a lack of desire to pursue debate and amendments under Article V.  Next, we continued our discussion on the Electoral College beginning with a Texas Elector who stated he would resign his position due to his religious beliefs Trump is an “unbiblical choice” along with several media outlets calling for reform or removal of the College, using Hamilton’s Federalist 68 to justify such action. So we went to Federalist 68 where Hamilton explains the College was to prevent a despot from taking office and electors where to be chosen from the masses by the people, not selected by those in power.
