My first guest tonight will be Robert C. O’Brien.

robertcobrienRobert C. O’Brien is an attorney and commentator on foreign affairs and international law issues. His opinion and editorial pieces regularly appear in major publications such as, The Huffington Post and Newsmax.

Mr. O’Brien’s law review articles have been published in the American Journal of International Law, The Cornell International Law Journal, The UCLA Journal of International Law & Foreign Affairs, The Los Angeles Lawyer and other journals. He is the managing partner of the Los Angeles office of a national law firm.

Robert was Co-Chairman of the US Department of State Public-Private Partnership for Justice Reform in Afghanistan. He served as a presidentially appointed member of the US Cultural Property Advisory Committee.

while-america-sleptIn 2005, O’Brien was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the Senate to serve as a US Representative to the United Nations General Assembly, where he worked with Ambassador John Bolton.

Earlier in his career, O’Brien was a senior legal officer with the United Nations Security Council in Geneva, Switzerland.

Robert and I will be talking about his new book, While America Slept, a collection of essays on U.S. national security and foreign policy with a forward by Hugh Hewitt, meant to educate and serve as a wake-up call to the American people.

This will be a timely discussion on the eve of a critical election: the next president of the United States must have a command of foreign policy and/or a first rate team around him (her…God forbid) to develop strong foreign policy and leadership in an increasingly dangerous world.

In the second 1/2 hour my guest will be Jennifer Dyer.

jennifer-dyerJennifer Dyer is a retired US Naval intelligence officer who served around the world, afloat and ashore, from 1983 to 2004.

Her last operations in the Navy were Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom in 2003

Dyer was also a student at the Army Command and Staff College for a year, five years after the Mogadishu, Somalia op — with her military background Jennifer brings a great skill set and insight to conversations of foreign and military policy.

Jennifer blogs as The Optimistic Conservative for domestic tranquility and world peace. Her articles have appeared at Hot Air, Commentary’s Contentions, Patheos, The Daily Caller, The Jewish Press, and The Weekly Standard.

Jennifer and I will be discussing her article at titled, Bring it: Washington bureaucracy prepares to ‘resist Trump.’

We’ll also talk about Hillary’s health and what effect that could have on the election, as well as some of the past and present dangers of Hillary’s (and Bill’s) foreign policy worldview.
